Police: Nampa man found shot to death inside home

NAMPA, Idaho (KBOI) – Nampa Police is investigating a homicide that happened Saturday night.

Shortly before 9:30 p.m., officers were called to a home on the 4100 block of Garrity Boulevard for a report of a man found dead with a gunshot wound.

When police arrived, they found 26-year-old Akrian Evans dead in his home.

Investigators are treating this incident as a homicide. Anyone with information is asked to call the Nampa Police Department at 465-2257, or Crime Stoppers at 343-COPS.

 

Police seek help from the public in finding suspect in Nampa homicide

Nampa police are looking for a suspect in connection with the March 14 killing of Akrian Evans.

Evans, 26, was found dead in his home on the 4100 block of Garrity Boulevard Saturday night with a gunshot wound.

According to police Wednesday, a man was reportedly at Evans’ home just before he was found dead. Investigators don’t know the identity of the man, but do have information on his appearance: a white male in his 30s or 40s with long, dark, wiry hair. He is described as having a medium build and a scruffy face. The man may work in the purchase or trade of wooden pallets. He was seen driving a white pickup truck, police said.
